The Hosts

A show is simply not a show without a great set of hosts, every year we try to keep the line up fresh & exciting with a new set of show compares!

In previous years Leeds Pride has used commercial radio presenters, famous drag queens & more recently some of our local scene faces.

Phil Oldershaw

Phil is no stranger to stage or screen and finds his own when presenting to live audiences. Now living in Leeds, Phil has worked with many big names in the industry including; Take That, Graham Norton and Gordon Ramsey to name but a few. His accolades include working with BBC, Channel 5 and BSkyB. Corporate projects see him regularly hosting food events, concerts and awards dinners/presentations.

Leeds, and the rest of the world, recently embraced Phil has he tactfully hosted the LGBT Vigil for Orlando, which went out over the internet, radio & TV reaching hundreds of thousands of people globally.

Lisa Lee is the founder and chair of Trans Mission. Three years ago it started as an information sharing page on Facebook, now it has grown to have a very active weekly social and support group for trans and gender variant folk, it offers advocacy, peer mentor training, trans awareness training, a men only group, mental health support group and basic Life skills courses. She is an out and Proud Trans Woman and is starting her third year of counselling training in October.  

When not involved with Trans Mission she can be found helping to run Mindfulness courses or binge-watching Game of Thrones with her husband Ruffus and their dogs.

Mamma Coil

Mamma Coil is an international Drag Performer and DJ, a founding member of Bears Aloud and part of the Lady Bears of Leeds Duo. 

Mamma can be found across the country as your cuddly DJ in Leeds, Lincoln, Chester, Hull and Bradford and many other scenes.

Our Mamma has also DJ'd and performed at Gran Canaria's Maspalomas Pride and as well as hosting the Trinity Main Stage she'll also be performing with her sisters as the reunited Bears Aloud at Leeds LGBT Pride's Tenth Anniversary in 2016.



Daisy DuPont has been a central figure on the Leeds Gay Scene for close to 20 years. 

Working in a variety of venues including The Bridge, Xibit and more recently Resident Saturday night DJ at Blayds Bar. 

The original winner of Leeds Drag Idol back in 2006, Daisy combines sequins, big hair, a sharp tongue and plenty of vodka resulting in an explosion of fun and frolics.

Following a fabulous spot hosting the parade stage last year, she is thrilled to be teaming up with her partner in crime Mamma Coil to celebrate 10 years of Leeds Pride on the Trinity Main stage.
