SORAYA VIVIAN TO PERFORM AT LEEDS PRIDE
Soraya’s famous voice is present in some of the most memorable vocal Dance music hits around. There are singers that can record records and then there are those that remain embedded in the memories of those that adore them. Soraya’s distinctive voice has become a
vastly demanded addition to tracks from some of the most influential producers in the industry, who recognise that her input can turn a club track into a global smash. Beyond a world-class voice, Soraya is an impressive writer and an outstanding live performer. On stage is where Soraya’s unforgettable aura is most discernible. Her huge voice is never outsized by even the largest of venues and the character that she radiates, is felt by all in attendance at any of her shows, anywhere in the world.
It all came together when Soraya’s hit ‘When You’re Gone’ was introduced to the world in 2003 by AATW who masterminded some of the most prevalent vocal dance hits ever recorded. The huge track is still the longest running “Champion Tune” on Galaxy radio and was broadcasted globally as a result of its popularity as a music video. She took no time becoming a widely respected club performer and developed her career, writing for other producers. Her list of collaborations in production grew following ventures with Riffs & Rays, Barking Brothers, Rhythm Masters and many more.
Lifted House (home to superstar acts including Fedde Le Grand, Ida Corr, Camille Jones) approached Soraya with an invitation to write and record with them, with the end product being released by Warner Music before topping charts in Sweden, Finland and Italy. This new success earned Soraya another deserved wave of public and music industry attention. Interest from leading artists continued and soon resulted in collaborations with Marc Maris, Eric Cupper, Digital 96, Dave Ramone, Chris Montana, Pinups, Dj Neo, Studiopunks, Jason Herd and Esquire, to name but a handful.
Having become a part of the highly acclaimed Fire Angel family, Soraya is enjoying touring the globe with Mark Doyle and his angels. With such an influx of live shows, she has become one of the most sought after vocal talents in Dance music. Her overwhelmingly powerful voice and enthralling stage performances mixed with her dynamic personality create a unique clubbing environment that could never be confused with any other. In 2009, Soraya closed the Ibiza season at the legendary El Divino in one of the shows of the summer alongside The Freemasons. Soraya also holds a legendary status among the worldwide Pride events, having entertained every major event around the world.
From Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi, to Universal and Vendetta, Soraya has appeared on a catalogue of renowned labels. Her list of collaborators is all the evidence required to see that the biggest and brightest names in dance music know that Soraya is one of the most gifted voices available. Her recent collaborations with Doorly, Dj Ivan and Red Max, Jason Chance, DJ Eako and others are evidence that Soraya has no issues adapting to remain at the forefront of today’s Dance music spectrum. Her recent collaboration with Doorly has been signed to ‘Mad Decent’ and is making a huge impact following early spins of the track from the superstar DJ himself and early supporters.
Longevity is key to prosperity in today’s music world and Soraya proves time and time again that her voice is timeless. She is keenly involved in numerous charities and fundraises for kidney and breast cancer, as well as being an active patron of Body Positive.
