Results from the Leeds Pride 2017 Impact Survey have now been released and again the figures show an increase to our economy. The event which took place this year over two days on the 5th & 6th August brought alone 40,000 people to Lower Briggate, with many more lining the streets and 1000’s in Millennium Square.
The impact survey was launched through our social media channels after the event and 640 people responded. An average spend of the participants attending Leeds Pride on the 6th August was £118.49. The economic impact of Leeds Pride 2017 onto the City Centre is worked out at a conservative figure of £3,791,680.
